Article marketing is an excellent way to help your prospects to find you online. You may think that you must write articles that are similar to what you would read in trade journals and other magazines in order for this to be effective, but this is simply not the case. Writing short, succinct articles that teach the reader something about your topic are best. Writing at the high school level will also be best, and I will discuss that in further detail. You may think that you must write articles that are similar to what you would read in trade journals and other magazines in order for this to be effective, but this is simply not the case. Writing short, succinct articles that teach the reader something about your topic are best. Writing at the high school level will also be best, and I will discuss that in further detail. Think of your writing as an opportunity for people to get to know you better and to learn more about what you have to offer.

The minimum word count on some article directories, such as EzineArticles, is two hundred fifty words. Other sites require more words before they will accept your writing for submission. The ideal length in order to attract new prospects and clients for your business is between three hundred and four hundred words. This is the case for several reasons. People reading online may have a shorter attention span and just want to get to the point of what they are reading. Even if they come from an academic background, they do not want to read something that takes too long or goes into that much detail. Also, many readers do not read English as their first language. Take all of this into consideration when writing on your topic.

Write in a relaxed and conversational tone. The idea is for people to get to know you better and to be able to find out more about your topic. By keeping your writing more simple you will reach more people and have more success in bring them back to your site to connect with you further.

The July Article Marketing Marathon is now forming. The deadline to sign up is June 21.
What is an Article Marketing Marathon?
For one weekend, you’ll focus on writing 20-50 articles … but you don’t do it alone nor unprepared.
You’ll have all the tools, resources and support you need to do so before you even start!
The week before your Marathon, I’ll do your keyword research for you — find those key words and phrases that will bring you more action-oriented and engaged readers.
Even better, I’ll write a selection of headlines for you ...
New Article Marketing Marathon Group Forming is a post from Marketing Turbo-Charge

It comes at the end of your article, and should flow seamlessly after the body of your writing is completed. Even though you are allowed to include two links here, it is best to just use one.

Offer a free download of your audio recording, special report, eBook, or other information, and then tell them why they will benefit from receiving it. The idea is to make them an irresistible offer that will encourage them to click on your link. Explaining the benefits here is crucial to the entire process. What will they gain by clicking on your link and visiting your site? Make this language compelling enough to get them to click through in anticipation of receiving what you have to offer.

If you look at well written articles, you will see that it’s difficult to know where the body of the article ends and the resource box begins. This is due to the fact that it flows naturally from one section to another so that the reader maintains focus and interest.

This type of writing can be learned by reading many other articles. You will see ones that do not work well at all, mainly because the author will include the copyright symbol or other wording that lets you know the end has come. The ones that work, resulting in hundreds of clicks back to the site of the person who wrote it, include open and inviting language that offers a free gift that will be beneficial.

Internet article marketing can be used for many reasons in building your online business. While you may have a business that does not rely exclusively on the Internet, marketing articles will still be beneficial in many ways. Some of these ways include increasing your online visibility, connecting with your target audience, and list building. I will explain how each of these works well with your articles in a short amount of time.

You can increase your visibility on the Internet by writing and marketing your articles. When these articles are published they go viral in a very short amount of time. Ezines will publish your writing, and your name will become known in wider and wider circles. Bloggers will also pick up your writing to use on their niche blogs. Google yourself today and see what comes up. Do it again after writing and marketing ten articles and see what it looks like then.

Connecting with your target market is also a welcome result from marketing your articles. You will gain a more realistic sense of what they want to know and what problems you can solve for them. Every time you write an article, research the keyword phrases that are related to your topic, and choose a title, you will gain a deeper understanding of what is going on in the mind of your prospect. This will help to make you a more powerful marketer as you become more experienced in this area, and you will be able to create products and services that will serve them well.

List building is one of the most important parts of working online, and articles will help you to build your list more quickly than you ever thought possible. Another benefit is that the people who join your list after reading your articles will be highly qualified. This is because they will understand more about you after reading what you have written about your topic. It will make sense for them to then join your list to find out even more.

You can see that there are a variety of excellent reasons to devote both time and energy to writing and submitting your articles on the Internet. If you are looking for an excellent method of building a highly targeted list, connecting with your target audience on a deeper level, and increasing your online visibility in the fastest way possible, choose to spend time each week with internet article marketing.

I trust you’ve heard the phrase, “there’s nothing new under the sun”? Well that couldn’t be more true that it is for article marketing. And the thing is, to really gain the benefits of this tactic, you need to write a lot of articles. So why not jump start your process with a little help from those who have blazed the trail before you? Here are a few ways to find inspiration for your own articles.

Google Alerts
One way I use to find ongoing inspiration is to set up a Google Alert for my selected key words and key word phrases. When setting up yours, be sure to make them a comprehensive search so you’ll receive inspiration from all over the web. This little tip brings inspiration directly to your email inbox on a regular basis. And you can decide if it comes in daily, weekly or even as it happens.

Keyword Phrase Research
Speaking of key words and key word phrases, you’ve done your research in that arena, right? I mean, you should never guess what people are searching with when there are plenty of key word tools you can use to uncover exactly what words and phrase they are using. You should be using key words and phrase in your articles anyway, but also when you find those longer keyword phrases, they can inspire you with a topic — or even topics — for your articles.

Looking for a hungry target market that is ready to buy? Find key word phrases that include the following key words: “How to,” “Review” or “Tips.”

EzineArticles.com
EzineArticles.com is probably the most top ranked article directory, so it can be an excellent source of inspiration. When you read enough of what others have written about your topic, you’ll find that the same information is regurgitated over and over.

This is a good thing! Now you know what information people want to know. So take that information and re-write it in your own words, giving it your own unique spin and personality. (Do not plagiarize – copy another’s words and claim that they are your own – that’s illegal and very bad for business to boot!)

Take a look at what others have written and discover what’s missing. How can you improve on the information already provided?
