Social Networking, Joint Ventures and Birthdays, Oh My!

26 August 2008 2 Comments

Hmmm. I must be more of a fan of The Wizard of Oz than I thought — I always want to tag on “Oh My!” whenever I list three things.

Anyway, today’s my birthday and I’ve had an aha! moment I’d like to share with you.

Social Networking Is Amazing!

Now, you probably already knew that, but here’s why I’m saying it now:

  1. The call last night was amazing. And it wouldn’t have been a reality if it weren’t for the connections I’ve made through social networks such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
  2. I’m getting loads of birthday wishes from people I’ve never met, some, I’d be willing to bet, probably don’t even have a clue who I am.
  3. Joint ventures — and Turbo-Charge Your Marketing is an example of one on a grand scale — are the easiest, best way to grow your business swiftly. And social networking can help you create the connections you need to recruit high-caliber JV partners.

Now, we won’t be talking about joint ventures in this program until early next year, but I can tell you that social networking is helping me pull together an amazing roster of guest speakers for the next two series.

So, do you belong to Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn? Then connect with me! I would love to be your friend, follow you and connect. I’m also on Xing (they gave me the birthday cak you see here), WomenOwned.com and Quechup. Who knows? Maybe we’ll come up with a JV opportunity that can help both our businesses flourish!

    Hi Annie:
It’s Roz Fruchtman. It has been an eternity since I last spoke to you.
YOU and Tony made such a difference in my life. It all started when I got unlimited long distance and found your Wednesday afternoon teleseminars. The information you so selflessly shared/share; the people I met and became aware of led to more and more. THANK YOU. I learned a great deal from you Annie — All Good!

NOW… I would like to connect with you via Social Networking and let others know about you. But I can’t find your IDs.

Perhaps I am having a “real” Senior Moment!

Please advise how I connect with you on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.

Looking forward to connecting with you!
